The legend of the...

TRS-80 Color Computer

In my opinion, one of the best computers of all time!

Not much to the page yet, but I'll get to building it up. :)

I think I might very well be the only person in the world with this t-shirt (most likely because I made it)! Coco fans will most surely remember this "hidden" screen on their CoCo 3's. The secret was to hold down the correct (secret) keys and press reset then let go of the keys and press reset again. Shhh!! It's a secret!

The Latin on the bottom of my shirt translates to:
"The good ole days!"

Here are some links to programs I wrote. The BBS was a project created by myself and the CoCo genius Mike Pepe. I ran it from my bedroom with a really cool J-Cat 1200 baud modem held together with putty so that the auto-answer button worked. I had a floppy drive loaded up with a game that people could play when they logged in. Also, our BBS supported ANSI text color! The first one I knew of at the time. I remember how excited I got whenever the phone rang and I heard a carrier on the other end! Heck, who needs the internet?

POKES.txt - Collecting PEEKs and POKEs was essential for every CoCo owner! Here are some, just in case you need them.

One of my proudest moments as a CoCo owner was in June 1992 when I got published in Rainbow magazine. I sent a few programs to the magazine at some point in 1988 and they didn't call me until 1992. When I asked them what took so long, they told me that the original editor probably didn't understand what my programs did. I was flattered. You can click on the pages to see them full-size if you'd like to read them!
