Obligatory page about me and stuff that I like,
and stuff.
I like Ficus Trees.
I like Yosemite.

click the Yosemite image above to see a live webcam. Incidentally, winter is my favorite time
to be there.
Ok... so I made this page like five years ago and thought it was cool back then. It wasn't. Now I look at it and realize that not only was it not really that cool, but it's way out of date. Strange thing is, about 15 minutes ago the idea of ripping this page off my website suddenly occurred to me. I've only eaten dates and raisins all day, so its possible that I'm experiencing some sort of fruit trip, but nonetheless, it happened. However, now that I'm here, I thought maybe I would just make it a little more current and keep it here. I'm sure that less than 0.05% of the population of people who visit my site will ever actually read through this, but I don't care.
Here's my license. Originally I put it up because I thought it was cool that I moved to LA from the east coast. It was a big step for me and I was proud of the fact that I actually accomplished it. I didn't really have any particular reason to move here, I just thought it would a good thing to escape NJ for a little while. It was. I'm going to keep my license up here though. Not because I think its cool anymore, though because I don't really think it is. But rather, I think its really comical how many people have written telling me how stupid I am for putting my license up on the internet. I love to render them feeling stupid when I explain that the number has been photoshopped and the address has been whited out. Some people are just so quick to think they're smart and that bothers me when they turn out not to be.

Mirrors are cool (except in the wee early hours). Here are three pictures of me... well, one picture of me snapped through two perpendicular mirrors. I did this some time in 2002. I made me laugh because at first it looked like a picture of a conference room with three people that look identical.

If you decide to come visit California, here are some things to do. I'm putting them here because I like them a lot. If you don't, you're incorrect. Experience them again and again until you realize that you do, in fact, like them.

PCH - drive on this road.
Yosemite - If you don't go, you're lame.
It is one of the most amazing places I've ever been to in my life.
Arches National Park in Utah
Okay, this place isn't in California... but its pretty damn cool and pretty damn
close, so whatever. You're guaranteed to say "There's no way that wasn't
man made"
Pictures from some of my trips...
birthday ordeal:
What
happened to the days when birthdays were cool 'cause you were getting older? The
first age I looked forward to was 10, mostly because then I would be in the
double-digits. Then things kind of died down until 17 when I finally got my
license. Although my parents wouldn't let me drive anywhere except to McDonalds
('cause who didn't work there at some point ?). When I turned 18 it
coincided with going away to college, so I was excited about it. Then the
finale... 21. Wow, I could begin working on decaying my liver. That was fun, for
a while. 25 - car insurance goes down. 30? Damn... that was weird. For now,
3x... nothin'. 4x? Dang. I have to wait until 59 1/2 before the next cool thing,
I get to take money out of my retirement fund without the government punishing
me for doing it.
Update: I hate this little section, because it reminds me
that I'm continually aging. I think I'm going to take it off soon so hurry up
and look at the pictures!
If I find the girl described in This Song I will have accomplished my goal.

I thought it would be appropriate to post a picture of my pride and joy, since most people seem to do that on their website.

Damn... so I was looking for pictures to slap up on this makeshift page and I came across this bad ass bowl of spaghetti. I wish I had this - now.
Ok... I've reached that point. I'm done with this page. To me, it's utterly pointless - but I'm going to leave it here since I spent the time making it. Here are some other things that I really like...

Favourite Book

When I was a
young'un, I was quite the computer nerd (as opposed to now where I use them
mostly because I get paid to). But in those days, knowing how to use a
computer was a rare and special talent because few people owned them and even
less understood them. I'm convinced that I knew more about
computers when I was 17 than I ever will.
To the left is a picture of my favorite computer ever. I loved that little
TRS-80 Color Computer and I still think it is better than what they are selling
today. It was so cool being one of the only people on the block with a computer.
Think about that. No cell phones, most people didn't have computers, nothing
like the Internet today. If you're a computer geek, click on it and look at the really cool program I published in the
official "CoCo" magazine: "The Rainbow"... it was my one moment of true fame.
Although I felt the need to include this special little part of my life on this
page, I recommend you skip over it unless you really care about this stuff and
as from what I'm assuming, few of you will. Yipes, sorry about all the cynicism!
Finally...
Are you actually still reading this? Well, I just wanted to tell you about the time I drove across country. I did it twice, actually. I definitely recommend the southern route - the northern one is kinda boring. In fact, to make up for that, I collected license plates along the way... I just sort of, well, found them.

The best test of a friendship or relationship is to drive across country with the person. If you still like them at the end, you know that relationship will last for a long time coming.
I want to back pack across Europe. I want to quit my job and disappear for a long time. I want to be spontaneous. I want to experience the world.
I need a travel partner if anyone is interested. (It would help if you were cute!) Send me an e-mail (remove the word REMOVE) and let me know when you want to leave!
if you're not tired of reading about me yet, check out my page on MySpace.com

The Beatles!

She's here just because I would like to have her.
Thanks for reading this.

Journal of a sick brain
the most traumatic events in my life
(you only get the password if I like you - a lot)
Update: Many people have been bothered by the fact that I won't
disclose this password and ask me why I put this here if I don't allow
anyone to look. Well that's a good question. Maybe it's just that I want
people to know that I've got a sick brain. Maybe I like the idea of being so
close to something but yet so far. Maybe I want to see who actually read my
page in detail. Maybe I like the picture of the brain with a window in it.
Maybe I thought it was fun to write the little password program that pops up
with you click on the brain. Whatever the case, please don't take it
personally... if you want, send me an email and tell me why you want to know
about the most painful part of my life and I'll mull it over.
